ATVing through the Red Rocks of Sedona

Finally found time this past week to put together a video of our ATV adventure while in Sedona, AZ last fall.This was a four hour excursion where the rental company provided you with a ATV,  a cooler of water, a map of the trails and sent you on your way.Since we own a ATV we weren't sure how this would be but it was fantastic.  Beautiful sights on pretty solid trails.  We felt the four hours was just enough time, a full day would have been too much.We highly recommend the company we used ~ Red Rock ATV Rentals both for their customer service and equipment. Some of our favorite Red Rock photos

Boating Along the Destin Coast

One of my favorite things we did last week while on vacation in Destin was to spend the day on my brother's boat. He has it at a marina just outside Destin so we headed over mid morning, fired it up and off we went.  We explored the entire coast of Destin and Sandestin  including the bayou and Choctawatchee Bay.  Finally saw what he meant about the craziness of Crab Island over the July 4th week.  Too many boats, people and beer for me these days  but in my 20's I would have loved it ha ha.We didn't see any dolphins but lots of my favorite pelicans.  I took a lot of video while we were out on the water and decided to attempt to merge it all together and make a movie.  I hadn't done that in years.  Here is the final result. 

Guy is introduced to Publix

I am so excited that Publix is coming to Richmond and that they will be building one near our home. When we were in Destin I took Guy and introduced him.Yup I made him stop for a photo 😂😂😂I don't think he really gets why I am so happy to never have to go to Kroger again once it opens but then he doesn't do the big shopping trips either 😂 😂

Road Trip 2017

And we are off before sunrise headed to Destin Florida for a week with my brother and SIL, hopefully a few nephew sightings along with some sun and fun.

Drag Boat Races 2017

Just back home from our annual day at the Mattaponi Drag boat Races.  We have such a great time.  The people who put on the event put on a great day with music, food, vendors and of course the races themselves. It's a fun, relaxing day sitting on the river's edge.  We are already waiting to get next years date on the calendar.Our mandatory going somewhere selfie (we are getting better haha)Our view for the race:
