Back to North Beach Landing
We decided a few weeks ago we really needed to get out of town for a few days, just the two of us and after throwing around a few possible campground ideas we decided we would head back to North Beach Landing RV park outside of Virginia Beach. We have been to this RV park three times previously and we can count on it to always be clean, quite and stress free. This was a quick, three night trip with no set agenda except to sit around and do nothing unless we decided to do something. :)We headed out Thursday morning, dropped the dogs at the sitters and a quick few hours later we were there. We had a canal site which once we set-up I thought might be a issue regarding mosquitoes but to our surprise they were not a issue. I am not sure if the park has sprayed or if we just got lucky but I was not complaining. Not a bad weekend view is it?All set up with nothing to do but relax and enjoy the park for the next few days.[envira-gallery id="13221"]Saturday we took a drive to another RV park in VA Beach where friends were staying just to get a look at it. So glad we were staying where we were, it was definitely more to our liking. Also, we had tickets to "Nitro Circus" a motocross stunt show that Guy wanted to see and just happened to be in VA Beach on Saturday night. It was interesting to say the least haha (more on that later). Once the show was over we grabbed a bite to eat on the way back to the camper and arrived just in time for Fireworks. No idea why the park did this show except to maybe get a trial run in before the July 4th holiday but while short it was a great display and we really enjoyed them. Knowing we were leaving in the morning it was a nice way to end the weekend.[envira-gallery id="13225"]and a video that shows a minute or so of the show. All too soon Sunday morning was upon us and we had to pack it up, pull out, pick up the pups and head home.[envira-gallery id="13231"]Such a great time, much needed time away to relax and just chill. NBL RV did not disappoint!Up next another camping adventure in just a few weeks :)
