According to my Merlin app this is a Sanderling which while I have seen many, many times I have never photographed.
ID Correction welcome if I am wrong.

Purple Finch Have Arrived
I thought I had seen one last week but was not sure if it was a purple or the imposter House Finch. Now I can definitively say the Purples are back.
I captured two males and two females using the Birdsy video camera today. This is a screen shot I pulled from the video. Once I have the chance, the video will be released.
