Hermit Thrush Have Returned
I was very surprised to see a Hermit Thrush on our feeders Christmas Day. I have not seen one here at the house in several years. Here is hoping there is more than one and we have winter residents.
Red-shouldered Hawk
Thought I would have time Saturday to get out to Dutch Gap so I had my camera with me. Christmas shopping derailed those plans but having the camera with me was a win. This guy was just sitting on the roof of a barn near our house so I had to stop and photograph it.
Not bad for not holding my cameras in months if I do say so myself. ID needed, looks like Cooper but possibly a Red-shoulder? Not 100% sure
