The Creating of Audreys Portrait

While aboard the Oasis of the Seas we met another guest, a portrait artist, who was creating these gorgeous black and white paintings and we decided to have him create one of our newest granddaughter as a Christmas Gift for her parents. He created the entire thing in less than 2 hours and did a remarkable and beautiful portrait.

White Pass Railway, Skagway Alaska

Can you believe we have been home from Alaska almost 6 months now, and I am just now getting around to blogging and sharing video I took there. Oh well, better than not sharing at all.

First up is White Pass Railroad excursion we took in Skagway. I will admit, this was not a excursion I was looking forward to doing but Guy really wanted to do it so we booked it and off we went. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the ride. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and the narration was really well done and I learned so much about an area I knew nothing about. Definitely an excursion I would recommend to all ages.
