Goodbye Party 2020

We celebrated the end of this terrible year by hanging out with the grandkids for the day while daddy worked and mommy had a girls day. We sang, watched movies, danced, and played

These two represent everything good about 2020. They kept us sane and do happy with our FaceTimes chats and visits. Can’t wait to watch them grow in 2021, although I am okay if it slowly done. I love them at this age!

Holiday Fun

We were able to spend the day with our oldest granddaughter. These days, due to Covid are not as frequent so it was especially special to have this time with her.

We concentrated on Christmas things by making homemade flour ornaments and then painting them, watched Christmas movies, and she decorate our Christmas tree.

Mom, dad and brother came over later in the afternoon for a Pizza party.

I am hoping these days will become a tradition for us and that our grandson can join us next year.

Thanksgiving 2020

With the craziness if Covid-19 still raging, Guy and I had to make a decision concerning the holidays. We decided it was best to not see anyone for Thanksgiving with the hopes we could see everyone over the holidays. it was a super quiet day. We walked the property, watched Hallmark Christmas movies, napped and then Skyped our holiday dinner with the Girls and their husbands.

Not the Thanksgiving we are use to and not the Thanksgiving we wanted but if it meant everyone was safe and we would have many more to share in the future it was the Thanksgiving 2020 we needed.
