Our New Home on Wheels Pt II

I shared a Instagram link a few days ago showing off our new camper but wanted to share a bit more as we have been asked a few questions about it.

1.Why a new camper? The easy answer is why not? but in reality our previous camper was just not laid out in a floor plan that worked for us. The living room was terrible, small, cramped and we could not use the sofa bed without blocking the camper door so impossible to really have quests stay overnight. The bathroom was not its own room, but two parts, both located in the master bathroom which was just not cool and again, not conducive to having overnight guests.

2. How we picked this one? We studied many of the new floor plans available, watched many YouTube tour videos and then went to the Hershey RV show with a list of RV's we wanted to see, I believe there we 10 on the list. This camper just felt right and the make was the same as our previous camper which we never had an issue with so when we were presented with a prince that worked for us, the deal was made.

3. What is it? This is a 2019 Keystone Cougar 30RLS. It is 34 feet long and will sleep 2 in the master and 2 in the living room, both of queen size beds. It has 3 slides and dual awnings. The floor space is perfect for the puppies to run around on and the fireplace will heat the camper if we choose to do that. Here are some more photos of it.

A Night at the Nitro Circus

After making reservations to camp near VA Beach last weekend we found out that Nitro Circus would be doing a one night performance just down the road from our site and that friends we attending so we decided to grab ourselves a few tickets and join them. For those who don't know, Nitro Circus is a Motocross Stunt show. While the organization was terrible, our sears challenging as we were in the direct sun (thank goodness for a cool evening) the actual tricks and jumps were pretty amazing. Would we go again, probably not but for a fun evening together it was great! Here are some photos from the show. Since we were in direct sunlight it was hard to get perfect exposure but on the flip side I got some cool silhouettes.[envira-gallery id="13375"]
