A Saturday With Friends

Two of my dear friends came for a visit this weekend. One I have known since Elementary school and the other from High School.We had such a great time catching up, gossiping, laughing, joking, a little wine, a little beer, eating way too much, riding the Polaris .......2016-03-12 15.20.34 [video width="222" height="400" mp4="https://lifeonthebluff.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/atving.mp4"][/video]and then wrapped the day up sitting around a nice fire.2016-03-12 17.16.402016-03-12 18.23.26It really is true that as you get older you realize what is important and what matters and dear, lifelong friends belong at the top of the list! 

The Drama of the Lost Tennis Ball

As if just having a blizzard wasn't enough, Guy and I forgot to grab Riley's tennis ball before the snow came so it was buried.  This became a huge deal for the little man  over the course of a week.  Check out the video.. Part one is Day One search, Part Two is his continuing look the next day and finally Part III is the recovery. He cracks us up LOL

Bottom of the Bluff

With Tim and Rene visiting the new house for the first time they wanted to see the property and since it was such a crazy warm day for Christmas week (72 degrees) we decided it was finally time to walk a portion of our property we had not seen previously and headed to the bottom of the bluff (yes we really are on the top of a bluff). One word.... BEAUTIFUL!!Some of the photos we took:
The land is so much more beautiful than I imagined and I had to pinch myself a few times, still do when I realize it is all ours.
