A Day On the Lake

This is why we bought the Pontoon Boat. To explore, have fun and make memories for ourselves and our family. This was the grandkids first time out on a boat adventure and they had a blast.

I hope they both develop the love for the water and the sea that I have. It can bring so much happiness into one’s world.

North Landing Beach 2020

We just got home from a much needed get away!

Thank goodness we have a camper and are able to take these trips. I didn’t realize how stressed out we have both become as this pandemic and semi-lockdown continues. I missed so much the fun of summer and fall travels and I know we will be back to it one day but still this is flat our hard so anytime we can “reward” ourselves with these quick trips I think we will.

First time we took all three dogs with us in the camper, it was more work but it worked out really well. We created a fenced “yard” for them and once Ben got use to things they all settled in for a relaxing weekend of their own. So glad we know they can join us and I won’t worry as much about it because we have lots of trip ideas for 2021 in our plans.

And Like That, He is Two

Absolutely crazy that we celebrated Benjamin‘s second birthday yesterday. He has gone from this adorable newborn to an even more adorable happy, funny, sweet blue eyed blonde haired toddler in a blink of an eye.

I cannot wait to see what adventures he is going to get into this year.

First School Days

It certainly was not the dream that these two parents had for the first day of kindergarten and the first day of preschool for these two.

No matter, both of them are taking this pandemic bump in the road completely in stride, and just keep on being kids. Don’t worry baby girl you’ll be back to school building soon enough.

Avery is virtual for now and Benjamin is in person since it’s a private school.

Avery’s first day of kindergarten and Benjamin’s first day of PreSchool.
