A freak snow and ice storm over Northern Virginia the last two days has totally confused the spring birds. They know it is March, now if Mom Nature would only realize it!
So ready for this winter to be over!!

Curtis Lake Iced In
It is very unusual for Virginia winters to be so cold that entire lakes freeze but this is what is happening all over the area. Below freezing temps for over 7 days I think it has been is freezing everything.This is a local lake near the house. Taken with my iPhone while out for a few errands.
