I Will Miss You Forever Paige

Today my x-husband and I had to make the awful decision all fur parents must make.  It was time to let Paige, our beautiful Lab/Shepard mix go.

Paige was a lovable, loyal, perfect friend and family member for 14 years. Although she lived in another home, she was always my girl and if I saw her daily or if weeks past she always greeted my with love, licks and smiles.

Heartbroken doesn't begin to tell the story of how I feel.  Thank you Paige for everything.

You will always be loved, always missed!

February 2018 Walking Update

Still walking.....I am really enjoying these daily walks, both at work and on the treadmill.   My daily goal is 10,000 per day and looking at the chart, I missed that goal 10 times in February which is to many days.  Saturday's appear to be a problem day.  I need to make more of an concentrated effort to get those steps, even on the weekends.  Results are starting to happen.  I am down 8 lbs since Jan 1st, I am starting to feel some difference in my pants and am sleeping so much better now that I am getting some exercise each day.My February steps: 279, 638 or 118.96 miles... YTD Total is  542,366 or 226.19 miles

First Visit to the Dog Park

Took Riley and Sydney to a local dog park for the first time to get them such much needed exercise and freedom.  All these cold and rainy days have had them in the house for over a week and we needed this as much as they did.At first they didn't know what to do, there were no little dogs in the area set aside for them and over 20 in the large dog yard.  They would look over at the large dog area, even walk up to the fencing and just stare.  I think all the puppy smells had them nervous at first as they kept right next to our legs for the first 5-10 minutes but then slowly we got them running around and chasing a ball and they seemed to have a great time.  We will definitely be bringing them back soon.[envira-gallery id="12903"]
