Well it. has been some time since I have visited the blog. So much has been happening and then again, not a lot has been happening. One of the things I have done is started to digi-scrap again. I was. very heavy into it years ago but just stopped and then earlier this month while backing up a harddrive I saw some kits I had and realized it was time to use all the photos I have both on the phone and the computer. Here are the fist few i have created. I am definitely rusty but it has been fun to get creative again.
If you want to see all the layouts I am creating click on the link above.

Finally time to get back to life. As of now this doesn’t give us 100% freedom but it sure lifted a weight on our lives I don’t think we fully understood we were carrying.
Almost 13 months to the day we locked down. It has been hard!!
We haven’t had snow, except a dusting in almost 4 years so even I, who is not really a snow lover has welcomed the storms that have come through this past two weekends. Somehow it is easier on my mind to be stuck at home because of snow and ice storms over a weekend than because Covid is still around and we need to continue to stay as safe as possible which of course limits places and events you can attend on the weekends.
We were surprised that the dusting we were suppose to receive overnight turned into a all day snowstorm dumping 6”-7” of beautiful, fluffy snow which for this part of Central Virginia is actually a lot. Since the snow arrived on a weekend we were able to get out take some pictures and just enjoy the wonderful crisp and clear air.
This is one way for little ones to burn off the extra energy built-up from virtual Kindergarten all day.
